FAQ
How do I drop off film?
Go to the Collective Espresso in Newport, Kentucky.
Fill out a film order form and drop it off at the vending machine. The film processing order form is where you fill in your name, phone number, email, and mailing address (only if your getting negatives/prints mailed back) the number of rolls you are dropping off, what type of film, negative preference, and payment options are all included on the film order form.
Send the amount owed over venmo or deposit cash with your film and drop it in the box.
Light is blasted from a bulb, past your film negative, through a lens, landing on photographic paper, developed the same as film, and it magically turns from a blank sheet of paper, to the photo that you orignally shot. Typically film is developed, scanned, and then printed on either an inkjet or laser digital printer into 4x6 or whatever size prints you request. A darkroom print is the most analog process of making a print from your film. Darkroom prints typically have a softer and less contrasty feel to them when compared to a digital print. Individual 8x10 prints are $10 each.
